Women On Mission meet on the first Thursday of every month at 6::30 pm. The meetings are usually held at church in the Women In The Word classroom. We would love to see all the women of the church come be involved in missions. The task of the WMU is to pray for and give to missions, do missions, learn about missions, develop spiritually toward a missions lifestyle, and participate in the work of the church and the denomination. We enjoy many fun and fulfilling projects in Women On Mission. We hope you will consider joining us!

Here Are Some Of Our Mission Projects Of the Past Year:

Meals On Mission...delivering meals to the shut-in's of our church each month

Backpack Ministry...packing backpacks with school supplies for local school children

Shoebox Ministry...filling shoeboxes with toys for Christmas for Samaritan's Purse

BSU lunch...preparing and serving a free lunch for the BSU of ACC

Clothes Drive for area charities including Hope's Place and Oneida.

Delivering Gift Bags filled with personal items for women of Safe Harbor.

Delivering baby items to Two Hearts, an organization to help women deal with pregnancy issues.

Supporting Missionaries in Uganda with a gift of money for needed school supplies.

Preparing Easter goodie bags for the children of our church.

Women On Mission also sponsors the annual Mother Day Banquet, Fathers Day Banquet, Fall Harvest Party,

the Annie Armstrong offering, Eliza Brodus offering and the Lottie Moon Offering.

The WMU includes Women On Mission, Acteens, Girls In Action (GA's), Boys In Action (RA's), and Mission Friends.

At each of our meetings we enjoy good food and fellowship!

We do a devotional

and discuss possible future projects. Occasionally,

we have our meetings at one of the women's homes.

We receive a Mission Mosaic magazine

to take home and enjoy through the month. We also enjoy

the fellowship of our group with special meetings like

tea parties,

or special guest speakers, Thanksgiving dinners,

Christmas exchange parties, surprise showers,
